Dear Swastik! Lets SEE the comparison parameters! Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy : Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum Internships : For learning hands on the real time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on the personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics etc. Technologies: The curriculum must includes the trainings on cutting edge technologies like SAP, GitHub etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises of people from diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, team work and cross cultural sensibilities. In Engineering (B.Tech) different branches are there like CSE, ECE, Robotics, ME, IT, Chemical Engineering, FT, BT, AE and many more which are accepted by the industry. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. Firstly, it is based upon where you want to study and what do you expect from college. From GITAM, we can expect placement, some exposure, with infrastructure and other facilities. In LPU, we can expect the same facilities but the degree to which they provide it differ. And as per my opinion, gitam is having nice facilities regarding education, and for staying in hostel. In LPU, I don't guarantee it since I have studied in GITAM, I have a brief idea. So, see these colleges websites and if possible, visit personally and see it. You will have a better understanding.
