Which is a better university to pursue B.Tech among GITAM University and LPU?

Dear Swastik! Lets SEE the comparison parameters! Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy : Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum Internships : For learning hands on the real time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on the personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics etc. Technologies: The curriculum must includes the trainings on cutting edge technologies like SAP, GitHub etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises of people from diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, team work and cross cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits and mentor-ship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation and business incubation labs Placements: After all it boils down to placements, the university must attract god number of companies for recruitment and offer good salaries. In education programs LPU has excelled in all these factors. By ALL MEANS it is LPU which has clear edge over other wannabies! Swastik, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IBSs, etc. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Amazon, etc. come for recruitment purpose. University prepare its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students have been offered package as high as 20 LPA.

When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. Firstly, it is based upon where you want to study and what do you expect from college. From GITAM, we can expect placement, some exposure, with infrastructure and other facilities. In LPU, we can expect the same facilities but the degree to which they provide it differ. And as per my opinion, gitam is having nice facilities regarding education, and for staying in hostel. In LPU, I don't guarantee it since I have studied in GITAM, I have a brief idea. So, see these colleges websites and if possible, visit personally and see it. You will have a better understanding. I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching.
