Which is a better university to pursue B.Tech in CSE among LPU and Amity University?

In the era of cut-throat competition, now-a-days every institution is floating CSE and consider it as flagship course and claims that the institute is providing best but the bets gets converted into the worst when it comes to application part. As an education consultant, I have seen many institutes offering CSE but CSE offered by LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Just few days ago, NIRF has ranked LPU in top 80 among all private and government institutes. Not only this, Management institutions are in top 50, Pharmacy in top 30 and Engineering among top 100 institutions which shows the quality being delivered at the place. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. I Had same question when I was seeking the place for my higher studies. I am an alumni of LPU and My real brother is also LPU passed out with CSE. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. UMS is the best and main toll actually that is centralized one system for all Academic operations. Almost everything is online in the campus. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. Dear Amrutraj, There is actually no comparison, LPU's scale of operations is at a different level altogether. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time ! Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipment an software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just for an example, more than 10 companies have established the centers for excellence within the campus with their own investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent ! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and network to produce any title anytime ! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum, to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment's, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Dear Amrutraj, For B.Tech CSE I will suggest you to choose Lovely Professional University.I would say LPU is best University for CSE in Punjab for CSE, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely professional university and currently he is working with Amazon with highest package.He has learnt a lot from LPU. Reviews are pretty good.
