Hi there, CSE is not an ordinary programme. It is highly resource intensive, dynamic and difficult programme to run for the curators. You never know when some technology gets obsolete! Hello, Both LPU and Amity University are doing good. I can't say anything about Amity (or any other university) but if you want to opt for CSE then Lovely Professional University is a very good choice. As an LPU alumnus, it might make you feel that I am supporting LPU but as per my experience, LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure, or other facilities. The curriculum at LPU keeps changing every year and new technologies are added to curriculum like AI, Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Big Data, IOT, and many more. Frequent workshops are conducted that keeps us updated with changing technologies. Professionals from different companies come and conduct these workshops. LPU has tie ups with google, udacity, SAP, IBM, Oracle and many other IT giants. Placements for CSE are really good and many top companies are visiting LPU for the same. Recently, a culture of Competitive Programming has developed in LPU, so any fresher coming here will be greatly benefited from it as frequent competitions are held on online platforms like Hackerrank and Codechef. So, if you are thinking for CSE then LPU is a great choice but then again wherever you go ultimately you have to work hard. My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class etc. And this is the part of the curriculum.
