Which is a better university to pursue CSE, LPU or Modi University?

Talking about Lovely Professional University, student of CSE here in LPU. LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. LPU provides free training on SAP Business Suite to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification. LPU has a tie-up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. LPU was ranked SECOND by Hacker Earth leaving behind most IITs among more than 5000 universities, from all around the world. LPU students designed and created India's 1st Solar-Powered driverless bus which was featured in various national media and which made a maiden run in the Indian Science Congress 2019 held by LPU, which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. And many more, with great placement opportunities, there is a very good holistic environment for one to study and get ready for the corporate world while sharpening your skills and knowledge. The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform. Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus.

I have completed my MBA from LPU and I believe that LPU is one of the best universities among all the B schools as well as other ranked universities. I will share certain facts which would justify the same. 1. Accreditation: As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). Not only LPU is highly accredited but also it is having numerous international tie ups for instance university of North Alabama, Livingstone College etc. 2. Size: LPU is spread over 600 acres campus consisting of 3000+students and 3500+ faculty members and staff. Students are taking the admissions not from all over India but across the borders as well which make me feel that I am in a foreign land. 3. Ranking: LPU has following ranking: 1. Knowledge Review rated LPU as 10 th among Best training and Placement Institute 4. Infrastructure: LPU in itself a town as all the amenities a student could found at one place there is no need to move out of the campus. From Central Library to Hospital, Bank, ATMs, JIM facility, swimming pool. A student could enjoy his or her life in the best way. 5. Placements: LPU is having outstanding Placements record for the students. As every year not only national companies but also international ones are also hiring the LPU students for instance Amazon offers 30 Lacs package per annum. Upgraded Approach: LPU is highly upgraded in its parameters as it includes paperless attendance, online assignments, submission etc. We can also raise our grievances online itself 8. LPU provides you a sense of responsibility too by encouraging students to do entrepreneurial ventures and explore every aspect of their life. 9. Facilities: If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books.

It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. Hello, A big Yes, for choosing LPU. I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. You have taken the right step. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement. Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculty members, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on overall development of students. University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculty members and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to cope up with such projects.
