Which is a better university to pursue mass communication, SGT University-Gurgaon or Amity University-Noida?

Dear Pankaj, Both of these might be ding reasonably well, but this field requires much more in terms of exposure, technology and practicals, I am surprised you didn't name the leader amongst all the private universities in your question LPU ! In 16 years of my career I have seen LPU grow to become a professional education behemoth. I produces smart and Intelligent journalists. Not only journalists you can find LPU journalism students at various sectors of Media and Entertainment. For eg: I know one LPU Student who got placed as a Celebrity Manager in T-series. LPU provides teaching by Doctorate faculty along with the handful practical study by experienced professionals. LPU has Adequate/appropriate equipment which they use on regular basis for making their children well trained even practically the equipment includes the latest cameras worth crores and other mixing software and equally high end systems to process all the editing. LPU have separate Professional Audio and Large size Video Studio. Where as Multimedia and Animation adds different dimension to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. LPU provides many platforms to their students to compete or perform even at National level events. Like National Media fests and other prestigious competitions. One of the LPU student won DADA SAHEB PHALKE AWARD few years ago. LPU has such a beautiful atmosphere where student can attempt to shootings or they can make short movies or documentaries. In fact LPU students get opportunity work practically in many of the LIVE Concerts held at LPU. University has their own Narrow Casting News Channel and Web Tv where students work as volunteer and few are on job taring. LPU has many Tie-Ups with prominent Media Houses. In fact many experts like Film directors, writes, Film Producers, Renowned Photographers, Renowned Journalists visits on regular basis. LPU has made a big name in placements too, as many as 700 companies visit the campus for recruitment ! I can definitely say that LPU is far ahead of any competition as well as time. LPU students shared how the conference benefited them by expanding their knowledge about design and creative arts and how words of renowned artists and designers widened their perspective on different forms of art. LPU gives a good platform to its students and wide exposure to showcase their talent especially when world-famous dignitaries come and student interview the. Lovely Professional University, School of Journalism and Film Production organized a national conference on Contemporary Perspectives in Design and Creative Arts' (CPDCA 2018) to have a holistic understanding of issues relating to space, forms, frugality, sustainability and functionality in design and creative arts. The conferences provides a platform for scholars and professionals to share and discuss the innovations and development in the field of design and creative arts. LPU students shared how the conference benefited them by expanding their knowledge about design and creative arts and how words of renowned artists and designers widened their perspective on different forms of art. LPU gives a good platform to its students and wide exposure to show case their talent especially when world famous dignitaries come and student interview the. They gain many tie ups this way and enter the market. The students are working in the ANI, Radio Mirchi, NDTV, News9 etc. As I know about LPU, so I can vouch for the same as it is good in all the aspects.

Both are good and have their own values. Amity University is considered good, but it is expensive too. Apart from these two there are many Colleges for communication that you may look for. They are not so much expensive. For any other query, feel free to contact me.

Dear Pankaj, Mass communication is the process of imparting and exchanging information through mass media to large segments of the population. It is usually understood for relating to various forms of media, as these technologies are used for the dissemination of information, of which journalism and advertising are part. Lovely Professional University offers B.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication). One of my cousin has completed B.J. M. C. programme from this University. He shared his experience so I got to know about this course. The programme is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic and New Age Media. The main Focus is on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography, etc. He told me School of Education, Lovely Professional University- LPU is a leading teacher education institution in northern India. The school offers courses from undergraduate to doctorate level. The courses are recognised by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and the state government. They have their own in campus media channel- Y TV, where the students work and have hands on experience of the real life media channel scenario. Apart from this there are many other events like Coke Studio, YouthVibe, etc. Taking place where the students are made part of it to give them the filed experience. Most of these things are part of their curriculum. Regular educational trips to various newspapers, channels, etc. Are arranged for students.
