IIT Madras stand out, NIT at Trichy seems good. Anna University and other universities run their own Schools of Engineering. Besides we have plenty of colleges in Tamilnadu affiliated to Anna University. For example, PSG Tech is one of the oldest. Besides we have a good number of deemed universities
