Which is a good option new IIMs or JBIMS for MBA?

Hi Siddharth, I would suggest go for JBIMS. It is no point getting into an IIM just for the brand name.

Hello! JBIMS ranks among the top ten colleges for pursuing MBA, unlike any of the new IIMs. In all aspects (except campus life), JB is surely better than them.

JBIMS is anytime better than the new IIMS since JBIMS has a reputation, whereas, the new IIMs have to build that reputation over time.

Hello Siddharth, This is completely subjective and mainly depends upon the factors which you take into consideration while comparing different B-Schools. However, if you take into consideration the placements and alumni base then JBIMS ranks higher than the new IIMs.

JBIMS does not accept ATMA scores anymore for MMS admissions and it accepts CAT, MAH MBA CET, and GMAT scores. 

The ATMA cutoff for PUMBA is usually high and ranges between 95 to 99 percentile.
