Aerospace Engineering is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - aeronautical and astronautical engineering. As the world is moving towards commercialization of space shuttles and rockets, the demand for aerospace engineers is set to increase. With a number of private players entering into aerospace technology, the opportunities are getting better. Duties of Aerospace Engineers Aerospace engineers typically do the following: Direct and coordinate the design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft and aerospace products Assess proposals for projects to determine if they are technically and financially feasible Determine if proposed projects will result in safe operations that meet the defined goals Evaluate designs to SEE that the products meet engineering principles, customer requirements, and environmental regulations Develop acceptance criteria for design methods, quality standards, sustainment after delivery, and completion dates Ensure that projects meet quality standards Inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to identify sources of problems and possible solutions One of my best friends is doing Aerospace Engineering at LPU. Both the universities are top notch private universities of India with good placements but the fees of SRM is higher than LPU and moreover, you can also win scholarship in LPU.

I would suggest you to go for LPU because all the faculty members are highly educated and you will get all the facilities related to your course.

Comparatively, SRM is best among all three, then Hindustan University followed by LPU. Though, all the three colleges are doing well but SRM has early establishment, better rankings and curriculum followed Hindustan University being an autonomous deemed university followed by LPU being a for-profit University. The above rankings may vary from one stream to another but is very much precise for aerospace.

Dear Sai, Hindustan University, SRM, and LPU are good private universities and growing day by day in the education sector. Now coming to aerospace engineering, I highly recommend LPU for this programme as my sister also did the same at LPU. Aerospace is a niche area, the skills required in the industry are beyond the course curriculum of most of the universities. LPU has recognised this and developed the curriculum in consultation with the industry. It has even set up a center for space research with a mission control facility. LPU has set an ambitious goal of developing a satellite LPUSAT-1, which will be launched next year (2021) The Center will enable students and researchers to communicate with the International Space Station (ISS), download lives satellite images, and receive telemetry, Science/engineering data from nano-satellites and larger spacecraft The Center will act as a key facility in the field of space research for LPU as well as a virtual lab for Universities, Colleges and Schools in India and the neighboring countries of India A team of students, Visionauts, from Lovely Professional University have won the prestigious STEM Engagement Award in the 2019 NASA's The human Exploration Rover Challenge was held at the US Space &amp; Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This marks the third consecutive occasion of a team from LPU getting selected to participate in the prestigious competition.
