    Hi Dear,
Both the universities are doing equally good but here I would prefer recent NIRF rankings released by MHRD. Where LPU is mile ahead than a mentioned name. Moreover, there are several reasons to opt LPU.
    # Curriculum is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials.
    # Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, data science, machine learning, and many more.
    # LPU provides pathway to opt that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entre

Engineering is one of the best programmes that LPU offers, and it is worth joining LPU for B.Tech (ECE).
I will highlight some of the features :
    1) The faculty, the infrastructure, and other facilities are excellent.
    2) The placements are 100%, and the preparation begins from the very first year.
    3) More than twelve Centers of Excellence were established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
