Which is best?continuing as IT guy or moving to management field?To my knowledge an IT guy can get many onsite opportunities and earn a lot

I am an IT professional with 3 years of experience,planning to do PGDM in IT in distance mode.I know many people who continue in IT as developers or support guys for long time getting onsite opprtunities ,earning a lot and even settling there.In that case I feel PGDM is of no use to me.please sugge
