Which is best for B.Tech CSE: Thapar University or LPU? Which will provide better scholarship?

Dear Sarah, I am not aware of Thapar for CSE, but being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for the CSE and good scholarship. Being a faculty of LPU I would like to share some details of the B Tech CSE department of LPU : Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. PEP Classes-These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from the pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Tie-ups with Industries: LPU has tie-ups with many reputed industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, and Upgrade. As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. 1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student The highest package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA. The highest package was grabbed by a B.Tech CSE student of LPU, and the offer was made by Google. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. During the pandemic year, 2020-2021, Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) and in 2019-2020, CODE NATION has offered 31 LPA.

Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants.
