In my opinion, Chandigarh University is better for pursuing B.Tech as compared to Panjab University because it provides excellent opportunities of placements in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T etc. In the session 2019-2020, 3750 engineering students got campus placements in more than 240 multinational companies. Due to learned faculty members and well-equipped labs, the B Tech students of Chandigarh University are able to enhance their skills and creativity which helps them in getting good placements and a competitive edge over students of other Universities.

PU has a relaxed atmosphere, the faculty, as is expected from a government. Institution does not pay much thought to student's achievements, because they will always get their salaries. Chandigarh University teachers fully concentrate on our achievements, both academic and extra-curricular, since their salaries are linked to the performance of their students.
