Dear Aspirant, Both are good private institutes for higher studies. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few parameters I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Great Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 LPA. PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Industry Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Specializations Offered: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. LPU also offers B.Tech (Hons. ). Hi Dear, The choice lies with you only. Both are equally good, rather now a days private universities are putting more efforts than some of the NIT's or even young IIT's. For NIT one has to crank JEE Mains where as for LPU one can crack LPU NEST. I am not saying that LPU NEST is easier than JEE Mains or difficult. Here I just want to tell you about the value addition, Where it might be possible that LPU is putting more efforts to make Industry ready product. First of all the difference is in the specializations. LPU offers large number of industry specific specializations, highly coveted Computer Science Engineering along with the function specific ones, while you can easily count the total number of classes in NIT's. Course curriculum : While NIT's are carrying legacy only in regards Curriculum, LPU has developed and upgraded its curriculum continuously with feedback and consultations with Industry tycoons. Three striking features of LPU are Technology trainings like SAP, Github, advance excel etc. , which give a clear edge to students in employability. Diversity: LPU attracts talent from all over India as well as about 70 countries across the globe. This gives a unique global perspective, social sensibilities and networking skills. Well, there is actually no comparison. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time ! LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified and talented ! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post doctorates and 700 PHDs LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipment an software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just for an example, more than 10 companies have established the centers for excellence within the campus with their own investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent ! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and network to produce any title anytime ! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum, to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment's, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus.
