World's top Tourism and Hospitality management company, Walt Disney selected 41 Hotel Management and Airlines Tourism students during campus placements at Chandigarh University. It has been 5th consecutive year that Walt Disney has recruited Hotel Management and Airlines Tourism students from Chandigarh University as the multi-national had selected 5 students in 2014, 10 in 2015, 11 in 2016, 25 in 2017. A total of 106 International & National chains of Hotels, Airlines and Tour & Travel Management companies selected 294 students from the University Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management (UITHM) at Chandigarh University. There has been a jump of 20% in the number of Five Star Hotel Chains which recruited the Hotel Management students while there is an increase of 30% in the number of offers as compared to last year. The total number of offers touched 343 which included 53 offers from top-notch five-star international and national hotel chains.
