IIM, Indore undoubtedly. Even if you check the institute's rank, it's much above the later.

Whatever be the disadvantages cited by people regarding IIM Indore's big batch size, there is no chance that a decent student with decent enough profile would't get better value addition in Indore, when compared to Shillong. To be clear, I am not undermining Shillong, but brand value does matter and Indore being an older institute, has a better alum base, better peers and facilities. Shillong, being at a somewhat locational disadvantage, is unable to attract that much of companies and roles.

Hi,
If you just look at the brand value then IIM-Indore is better than IIM-Shillong but IIM-Shillong is growing very fast whereas Indore is has been on the verge of decleine. The placements and all are going better in Shillong. Indore has a huge batch strength of 750 students which is a hindrance for them whereas Shillong has a batch of only 180 students.
