    Hello veda. These two branches have more or less same opportunities. Although civil has more govt job opportunities. Placements largely depends upon college. So before taking admission anywhere, check the companies visiting and placement record of that in branch in that college.

    i think automobile sector has more opportunities if u do from any reputed college.

    Both the branches are with the same scope and almost give you the same opportunities. It also largely depends on your skills in the particular field as every engineering branch requires a skill set. Moreover opportunities also depend on university you choose to study in. So carefully examine the placement records where you are going to take admission. Some suggestions would be -
