Which is best option between low ranked NITs or private ( deemed ) university?
Low ranked NITs ( like : Shreenagar, Agartala, Sikkim, Meghalaya etc. ). Private deemed university ( like : VIT, SRM, THAPAR, LPU, CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY etc. ). Branch is B.Tech mechanical engineering (with robotics). .

The NITs as you described are low ranked but are the best among the private Universities. So if you get a chance than avail it. Otherwise its better to go for next year for high ranked NITs.
