Which is best to do M.Sc with medical microbiology or applied microbiology

    M.Sc applied microbiology has better options abroad as can apply for industrial jobs. M.Sc medical microbiology the only option is to do Phd which is long duration course and compete MD microbiology in medical colleges for jobs.

    Applied Microbiology has a bit of of higher scope as of now because it is also applicable to food product (food grade) industries, hotels, product development using fermentation teachnology, Quality Assurance field, institutions etc. But Nidhi if you have interest in working in hospital, diagnostic centres, Forensic department, medical research areas then you can opt for Medical microbiology.
