Dear Sakshi, Lovely Professional University (LPU) has become India's first private university to get ICAR accreditation. This shows the strength and credibility of the department and school as a whole. School of Agricultural Sciences is one of the fastest-growing schools of Agriculture in the entire region and India. It is being rated as among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. After getting so much feedback and observances in my opinion LPU is best to pursue agriculture course in comparison to CU. Through the Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE) programme the students develop a real-time understanding of conventional agriculture methods and effective dissemination of knowledge to the farmers. In order to provide a basic understanding of emerging problems and technologies involved in agriculture, field visits are conducted to neighboring farms, orchards, and nurseries. Hello Sakshi Singh, I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute.
