IIST Kerala and IIT Bhubaneswar are prestigious institutes in India. As per the NIRF Engineering 2023 ranks, IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 47 and IIST ranks 48. Aerospace Engineering at IIST will help you get ready for ISRO; however, Civil Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar will prepare you for various top MNCs. Choosing between these two branches is totally dependent on the candidate's preference.

Hello,I personally feel that aerospace at IIST is far superior to civil in IIT Bhuvaneshwar. One reason for this is that the former is well supported by ISRO and employment in correct field is almost guaranteed of course civil at Bhubaneswar will also enable you to get employment but then if you are interest is to work in an area which is challenging to the mind then aerospace engineering is the way you should go ahead. Best wishes to you.
