Hello Dayon Raju, B.Pharma is a 4 year Bachelor programme that is the undergraduate level in Pharmacy and builds a base for wide range of topics in industrial, clinical and community setting. D.Pharma or Diploma in Pharmacy (not to be confused with Pharma. D) is a 2 year Diploma programme and provides the minimum qualification required to become a practicing pharmacist in India. Good luck.

AsIsaw many answers about Pharm D, Everyone have a confusion between Diplom in Pharmacy (D Pharm) & Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D).

    Acc. to me,

Both B.Pharm and Pharm.D are degrees in the field of pharmacy, but they differ in terms of focus and career prospects.

B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is a four-year undergraduate program that primarily focuses on the study of pharmaceutical sciences. It provides a strong foundation in subjects like pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, and pharmacognosy. B.Pharm graduates are eligible to work as pharmacists in community pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, and research i

In my one should not stop after pursuing D.Pharma instead pursue B.Pharma further to assure better career aspect in future. B.Pharma. Is the 4 Years Degree Course with lots of Practical exposure with live Projects. Future career prospects of B.Pharma students have a wide range of options when it comes to choosing a career path after graduation. The possibility of pursuing higher education is also open for B.Pharma students, apart from B.Pharma career pathways. In my Opinion Lovely Professional University will be the best option for you for pursuing B.Pharma. Course. There are several reasons behind that like,

Firstly, you should not be confused between D.Pharm and Pharma.D.
Actually, D.Pharm stands for Diploma in pharmacy which is a 2-year course and Pharma.D is a doctorate in pharmacy. So there is no comparison between them.
    B.Pharmacy is a 4 years degree course.
B.Pharmacy and D.Pharmacy both have there own importance. You can take direct admission in the 2nd year of B.Pharmacy after D.Pharmacy.

Both D-Pharmacy and B-Pharmacy courses are having good careers. But D-Pharmacy is a Diploma course and B-Pharmacy is a Bachelors course.
Soon after the completion of D-Pharmacy the candidates will go for B-Pharmacy and then to M-Pharmacy. But B-Pharmacy candidates directly go to M-Pharmacy.
The duration of D-Pharmacy course is just 2 years and for these candidates the duration of B-Pharmacy is 3 years. These candidates will join as lateral entry scheme.
Hence it will take 5 years for these candidates to complete B-Pharmacy. But the advantage what they get is they are going to get a diploma certificate.
For the candidates who directly join

B.Pharm is Bachelors degree and it is the next level of D.Pharma, so no comparison is there between these two. Obviously B.Pharma is better.
