BCA is more software study oriented than B.Sc. IT so it depends on whether you want to enter the software field or the IT field. If you want to go to IT field then go for B.Sc. IT.

According to me, BCA is better than B.Sc because BCA is more concerned with software technology and its applications in practical than B.Sc. So, BCA would be a better choice.

That totally depends on what you wanna do after graduation. I mean if you want to work for a company as a developer then you should opt for BCA but if you want to be a professor then B.Sc. Is a good option for you. It doesn't mean that you cannot work for any company after B.Sc. But you have to work harder than others. The reason why I am telling you is that in B.Sc. The focus is on theoretical knowledge rather than BCA where you will learn about applications. The demand of IT professionals is increasing not only in India but also abroad. After the completion of the course, the student can find a job in reputed IT companies like IBM, O

Both are good programmes. Only your interest matters that which is your favorite course. For those students who want to make a career in computer applications, programming, and software development, the BCA course is better (than B.Sc. IT) option; while for the students who are desirous of finding advanced job opportunities in the internet technology and database operations & management, the B.Sc. Is good for them. My cousin did BCA at LPU, so I would like to share details of the BCA degree at LPU. BCA is Bachelor of Computer Applications and is concerned with applications of computers. It is a 3-year graduation degree course generally for those students who wants to learn computer languages and who want to join software firms after it. Higher education opportunities include MCA and MBA. B.Sc. IT deals with information technology and its applications. This degree is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, wireless and networking.

It really doesn't matter as the syllabus for both would be more or less same. Only caution to be taken is that it should be a regular course from a UGC recognised university.
