B.tech is an engineering degree of four years in which your two years course is same like for all other branches and 3rd year starts with specialization i.e theory of IT with practice and it includes the topic done in BCA whereas BCA is a generic degree of 3 years mainly includes subjects involving computer languages, database management, operations systems, logical analysis, software design and client server technology.
Scopewise b.tech will get you better jobs.

BCA is better than B.tech computer science because BCA students have more clear basics than that of B. tech students . There is a great demand of BCA graduates in the market. As today era is the era of technology. So there is much scope after BCA. You can also do MCA after BCA. You can go in banking line and also in teaching line. You can join in any software company. There is very much demand of computer specialist in the various companies. Now a days, students of BCA are given more preference than B.tech students.
So I suggest you to do BCA.
Best of luck for your future.

With no doubt, B.tech in CSE is much better than BCA. A guy having B.tech(CSE) degree has better job opportunities than a guy having even BCA+MCA.
The difference is very clear I think.
  • B.Tech CSE is much better. . try VGU Jaipur or Galgotia university

Both are the good degrees but only doing bca will not give u the desired job but yes if u can persue MCA after BCA then its a good option otherwise go for btech as after completing btech not only u can start your professional career but you will learn things in the technical part as well.

if you done your +2 with non maths background then BCA will be good career option. Otherwise BTech cse is complete degree in itself covers all aspects from software to hardware whereas BCA only caters to software aspects only.

If you compare BCA with B.Tech then you can assume like that B.Tech is a mixture of both BCA and MCA. so if you are not planning to do MCA then go for B.Tech. It will give you a big box of opportunities.
