B.Tech course is somewhat more practically intensive than the BE course which is more theoretical. The difference (which is quite minor) between the two degrees can be understood from their names itself, Engineering vs. Technology. Engineering is a "Science", dealing more with theoretical concepts & principles.

BE or B.Tech, both are actually one and the same. As the great Shakespear says: What is in a name? Rose remains rose even if you call it by whatever the name. BE or B.Tech, both are two sides of same coin. There is absolutely no difference between the two. Be rest assured and do not worry. Best wishes to you.

    Hi,
Both the courses are similar. In B-Tech and BE, you need four years to complete your degree. B-Tech stands for Bachelor of technology, and BE stands for Bachelor of engineering. Initially, only Bachelor of Engineering was there in engineering. Now, it is modified as Bachelor of technology. You can go for any one of these. Best of luck.
