Which is better among diploma and degree from New Zealand?

I am an engineering student and my degree is going to complete next year. After that, I am willing to get further education from New Zealand but I am confused in between a diploma and Master's degree. Can you please help me out? What would be the job opportunities after doing these courses?

Dear Nishant, A degree is always better than a diploma, however if you have a budget constraint then join a 1 year PG diploma as this will allow you to stay back for one more year on a post study work visa and then you can try for PR, also you can look for a masters which allows you to drop out after 1st year and receive a diploma and later you can join 2nd year and complete masters.
