IIT BHU for mechanical, here we have many labs and equipments for mech students.

Well, it depends on what you are targeting at. If it all comes down to placements, then here is the preferred list.
Core mechanical placement wise:- ISM, then BHU then Jadavpur.
Overall placement wise:- BHU, ISM, Jadavpur University
