As per my experience in LPU as a student, Lovely professional University is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU is one of the finest university that I know of. Be it academics, placements or extra-curricular activities. About the university- It is situated in Punjab (Jalandhar). I feel LPU is going to be a good choice as it is a reputed and established name in the field of education. They have made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories. In addition, if we talk about placements, LPU is having best placements. The university works for the overall development of its students. Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
