Hi, In the era of cut-throat competition, every institution is floating CSE and considers it a flagship course and claims that the institute is providing the best. Still, the best gets converted into the worst when it comes to the application part. Therefore, the only institute that comes to my mind is LPU. The LPU is a leading university with a world-class infrastructure and a faculty like the IITs. The LPU curriculum is focused on the latest developments and technical aspects that help students stay up to date. As per my experience in LPU as a student, Lovely professional University is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class, etc. You can visit the LPU website for more information.

LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU is one of the finest university that I know of. Be it academics, placements or extra-curricular activities. About the university- It is situated in Punjab (Jalandhar). The campus is built over a huge area of around 600 acres of land and has the best facilities for the students. I currently pursuing CSE at LPU. Being a student, I'll share my points with all of you. Academically, it is the best private university which always focuses on learning outcomes by letting explore our capabilities. The curriculum blends in with the technology. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for us by the university. Recently, *Ministry of Science Technology's Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including our university (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. * The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help us. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Apart from this, LPU has best lab facilities for each subject. Our department has a dedicated laboratory division with fully functional world-class equipment. A large library spread over 6 floors, with Lacs of books and resources. We can read and issue books on the weekly basis. Now let's talk about the activities. There are a number of activities conducted at LPU throughout the year. Various sports are structured. We can participate or play any sport according to our choice basketball, hockey, cricket, table tennis, volleyball etc. Cultural events are very famous in the university like fashion shows, singing competitions, dancing competitions etc. Debate competition, speech competition are very common on the campus. These are usually organized to build up the confidence level and develop our personality. I recently participated in 'One India-2018' mega-fest. It showcased more than 160 festivals celebrated all across the country. It was so much fun. The most important is the university placements which are quite decent as far as I can tell. Well-known companies including MNC's visit the campus for the recruitment. Till now, Cognizant is the biggest recruiter. It has a record of placing 600+ students in a day. Totally worth it.

Dear Manikumar, I feel LPU is going to be a good choice as it is a reputed and established name in the field of education. They have made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories. In addition, if we talk about placements, LPU is having best placements. The university works for the overall development of its students. Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which, there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects etc. along with classroom teaching.
