Which is better among LPU and Techno India University, Kolkata for B.Tech CSE?

B.Tech from LPU cannot actually be compared to any other institution in the country. Following points make it entirely a different experience altogether: Large number of specializations within the streams. For example only CSE has about 8 specializations within its ambit. Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. LPU is better in terms of academic prospects as compared to local universities in WB. Though, as an advice, if you are financially stable, do not prefer distance education at scale and if you are getting CSE in Techno India University then go for it. Else, LPU is better then TIU-Kolkata in all respects be it placements, infrastructure or curriculum.

Hello Trilochan, LPU is better in terms of academic prospects as compared to local universities in WB. Though, as an advice, if you are in Bengal and financially not stable, do not prefer distance education at scale and if you are getting CSE in Techno India University then go for it. But the truth is that, LPU is better then TIU-Kolkata in all respects be it placements, infrastructure and Curriculum. LPU is best, as it provides quality education as well as placements also. More than 650 companies are vising LPU for campus placements and the average package revolves around INR. 7 to INR. 12 Lacs per annum. Recently 3 students of LPU got placed in Amazon at a package of INR. 28 LPA. HiIn my opinion as the success graph is seen in the market I would opt for B.Tech from LPU. 1. If you can check the growth graph, definitely for engineering it would be LPU which has created a niche for itself by getting the students placed in the top notch positions of MNCs and have become the cause of envy of many. 2. LPU offers a complete package of quality teaching, intuitive learning aided with hands on practical training. It also offers good scholarship slabs based on various categories. It has also started the covid scholarship to aid education at such grim times. The updated labs and the expertise of the faculty have given good results that today LPU is a name to reckon. LPU students are guided on niche technologies like Google, SAP and Oracle. Possessing such skill sets separates them from the ordinary and leads them to grab top placements. 3. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of its students. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively seven times in row. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated it as 11th Best in India in Placements. Hello, I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about others. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement.Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculties, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on overall development of students.University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculties and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to be cope up with such projects. Also, such projects boosted up my CV and helped me in my placements as well as in my professional career. I hope this helps you.

LPU has a good environment for students. It has the best infrastructure and good quality of teachers. Also, many reputed companies like Tech Mahindra, Flipkart, Infosys, etc. Visit the campus for placements. LPU follows IITs for their course structure.

If you want pursue B.Tech CSE. Adamas University Kolkata is best choice for you. Adamas university is best university in West Bengal. They ranked number 1 from ABP, WORLD EDUCATION CONGRESS, TIMES OF INDIA, I GAUGE etc. Adamas university is best university in Eastern india.
