    Hello there,

When it comes to pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Lovely Professional University (LPU) definitely holds a stronger position compared to Chandigarh University (CU) and Chitkara University. For CSE, I would say Chandigarh University is the best choice. Let me tell you, the university offers B.E. in CSE, not B.Tech and the programme is  accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). This means your degree from CU will be valued all over the world.

The department has top-class labs like the Microsoft Innovation Centre, IBM Software Lab, Vrtusa Robotics & Automation Center, and HP Center of Excellence. These labshelp students learn partically. There are seminar halls and auditoriums for workshops, tech talks, and conferences. Hackathons, te

The highest package is 35 LPA and average is 5 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AND INFOSYS, IBM, etc. Were the top recruiters. 80% of students get an internship in my college. Hi, All the universities are doing equally good but I recommend LPU because my brother did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and he is working in an MNC now. I have visited LPU several times during his 4-year journey. I will highlight some of the features. The staff is highly qualified and most of them are Ph. This. The faculty has in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and are supportive too. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends and is vetted by the company officials. Well when I consider the overview I find LPU better. As LPU curriculum and pedagogy is very effective. LPU strongly believes in the fact that learning doesn't happen only by books equal amount of external exposure is much needed for the holistic development of one self. In order to nurture such approach the university conducts multiple live project, floor job trainings and runs specialised curriculum that builds insightful understanding of concept and its applicability. Some of the industrial Tie-ups include Google, SAP, Cisco, Bosch, Dell EMC, VMware, PEGA Systems, Intel, Microsoft, and many tech giants enforcing the students to adapt

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Dear, Lovely professional university has its own entrance test named as LPUNEST, The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who scored a higher rank will mostly get their preferred course/specialization allocation and so forth.

Once a seat is allotted in the first instance, you are required to make a nominal payment in terms of an advance payment in order to secure your seat for admission in the next steps, since the seat allotment process can iterate through several rounds. Once you have secured a seat through the payment process, you will be required to upload your documents whilst you are in the p
