I'll prefer you to opt for the electrical engineering, as the scope of this field in India is good and you can easily get a decent pack job easily, but this can't be possible in the mechanical branch as there are very less jobs in India for this field.

Sorry, but all forms of engineering require a solid grounding in maths. However, it's not like you'll be immersed in mathematics for all time, like a theoretical mathematician. It's necessary to have the groundwork because so much of engineering is built on top of it. In everyday work you may find that the field-specific software in daily use does 99% or more of the heavy mathematical lifting for you. It's when the software kicks up an unexpected result that you need to be able to assess whether the result is trustworthy. For this, you need a reasonable understanding of the basic principles and assumptions upon which your software is b

Both are definitely cool, but I would say Electrical Engineering is cooler. My definition of cool here, is the ability to use your EE (Electrical Engineering) skills to build things yourself, with your own two hands. Things like robots, sensors, drones, etc., really work off of technology that uses electricity. These are things that you can build in your room, in a reasonable amount of time, and with a practical amount of money. Think also of phones, computers, electric cars, etc. All that really cool tech that has everyone excited? It is all built off of electrical phenomena. Mechanical is cool too (I am studying Mechanical Engineerin

Electrical engineers focus on power generation such as electricity, mechanical engineers focus on power application getting physical parts, motors and components to behave or act in a desired manner. Classic examples of the types of machines mechanical engineers may design or manufacture include internal combustion engines, gas turbines, fans in air conditioning units and rechargeable batteries in handheld devices. Being an alumni of LPU my couple of friends are in mechanical let me tell some insights. A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment inc

As both are the good and most demanding branches among students, also students should choose the one as per their interest and potential. As Electrical engineering is the bridge between computer Science and mechanical engineering. So if you want to work for your salary but be in high demand, EE is the place. In India, there are various job opportunities for both of these branches in public sector. There are many government jobs available for mechanical and civil engineers but for that you have to clear the examination that is conducted by the government councils and you must be eligible to appear for such kind of examination. You can a

Both branches of engineering are more or less equally good and offer good opportunities. You must consider your interest here. If you like reading about how machines work, how they are designed, how they are made, then go for mechanical. If you are fascinated by electrical circuits and power of electricity, its components, its uses, how its generated, how circuits are made, electromagnetic switches etc. , go for electrical engineering. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. They can secure their future by getting these opportunities. Placements at LPU are best-ever achievements.
