Which is better among PESIT and RV?

RVCE and PESIT were considered to be the top colleges under VTU before PES became university. PESIT was always the second choice after RVCE. However, in the recent years, PESIT had been managed to get a university status which RVCE still dreams of. I have visited both the campuses and found that RVCE has a huge campus but PESIT has managed their space very well. I also found the infrastructure of PESIT much more artistic than that of RVCE which means better hostels and classrooms. On the other hand, RVCE has been always the one leading the race. Placements in both the colleges are same if you compare circuit branches (including CS, IS, EC, EE, TC & IT) but when it comes to non-circuit branches (including ME, IEM, CV, CH and AE) RVCE holds better faculty and placements. RVCE has been granted "Centre of excellence” from the government of India in nanotechnology which is a part of mechanical engineering stream. In the end, I would say that both these colleges are top notch colleges and hence it won't matter a lot where you study. Instead you can go for a branch of your interest so that you can excel in your field. Hope this helps.

Related to the faculty and research,it is growing year by year.The college campus provides a lot of extracurricular activities in the form of Clubs, debate societies etc.In a Summary, the college is excellent for study an engineering course for a student interested and dedicated in this field. Hi Akash, I don't know much about PESIT but I'm happy with the opportunities and learnings provided by my college. But I've heard that PESIT is better than RVCE from many students. But I haven't compare them till now.
