Which is better among PU and LPU?

LPU is better because of the following reasons: LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University's Engineering School is ranked amongst Top 100 Institutions in India. If you are looking for industry oriented academics, practical based curriculum and learning, professional corporate culture during the college life itself, and a better placement in any fortune company, then Lovely Professional University- LPU is totally worth it. I have studied B.Tech in CSE from LPU and as far as I know, PU is a public university. Although both are good institutes but being alumni of LPU I can only provide you with the information about LPU. There are around 200+ programmes for students on offer, within a variety of faculty members, including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and Zoology. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. All courses at LPU are taught in English so it is required that all students applying for admission should have strong reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of the English Language. LPU has strong partnerships with large companies in a wide variety of industries, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc. Students are encouraged to secure internships and placements throughout their studies. In an attempt to nurture students' entrepreneurial talents, the university provides office space and equipment, technology support, and SEED capital. In addition, there is a dedicated business development hub, which hires mentors to assist students who are developing strong business ideas. There is a large cricket stadium and health center for students to access. Sports on offer include cricket, boxing, football, taekwondo, and basketball. Students at LPU have competed at international events like the Commonwealth Championships in the United Kingdom and the National Judo Championships. There are also inter-university tournaments held on campus throughout the academic year. LPU has relationships with universities around the world to encourage international students to attend the university. As a student of Lovely Professional University, both universities are excellent in their respective areas. But from my point of view studying in LPU is much better because their ranking, education, placement, generation and infrastructure in every component LPU is better. Infrastructure: The university has inexperienced areas so my special areas, air conditioned lecture hall, Google lab, IMAC lab, moot court, quality art lab, countryside, regional center, playgrounds and every girls and boys hostel. Ranking: If I talk about approximate ranking, LPU is under top hundred among all private and official colleges. What shocked me the most this 12 months is the current rating, which once again used the world higher education among all authorities and personal higher education. Placement: Placement is an integral part of what an applicant can SEE in a college/university at the time of admission. So 90-95 students out of 100 students are placed in an amazing professional university. Especially in B.Tech the highest salary package is 64 lacs per year and the average salary package is 21 lacs per year. So I think the great applications of this are being explored at each different college.

Both Panjab University and Lovely Professional University are great universities with a lot to offer students. PU and LPU, both are great universities in terms of academics ad placements, however being an alumni LPU, I can share my experience with you regarding LPU. First of all, the infrastructure of the university is huge and beautiful, this is the first thing that attracts many students here. Then coming to academics, university advances with time, it is known as the paperless university, where technology is used more than any paperwork. Students and faculty members have their own portals where they get all the announcements regarding, timetables, exams, results, etc. Opportunity-wise, the university supports students in all domains, be it sports, arts, or even academics. National and international level competitions are held and students who are capable are selected based on certain parameters.

PU is a much better and more reputed institution in North India. The quality of education is supreme and the teachers are super professional and helpful. The campus has so many events and activities going on and a PU degree is great for getting good jobs too.
