Which is better among pursuing MBA abroad & pursuing MBA from a decent IIM in India?

Apart from the financial aspects related to the course, can you tell what would be the pros and cons for pursuing MBA in India with a decent IIM (ranking wise) and abroad from a decent ranking university?

Going for the best B-schools abroad like Harvard, Wharton's, INSEAD, Stanford, etc. is a much better decision than pursuing MBA from any of the top Indian B-schools. If not possible, doing MBA from the IIMs or some top non-IIMs will also be a great option.

If you are getting the best B-Schools abroad like Harvard, then it's really great but in India, any IIM is best to study from.
    All the best.

It depends on the college, which you will get in abroad. Moreover, IIM – A, B, and C is no way less.

If you want to pursue MBA abroad, then you need to score good percentile in GMAT. MBA abroad is the best option. If you get admission in IIM-A,B or C, it will be better to pursue MBA in India only.

I would prefer IIM in India as it surely has good reputation abroad also. Secondly while studying at IIM it lends a touch of "Indian-ness" to the management education (case studies etc) which goes a long way to help you in your career in case you happen to make one in India itself. Management education from abroad would be good only if it is highly reputed and of course the cost factor is always there.

Choosing India over abroad will give you two benefits, first you will get more or less same infrastructure, placements and quality education from IIM.
Secondly you will get it without spending a lot of money as compared to abroad.
