Which is better : B Sc(IT) from SMU or BCA from IGNOU?

    I think IGNOU is the best one. For one - It was created by the Act of Parliament, 1985. So all its programmes are well recognised by different universities for pursuing higher education and also by industries for jobs.

    Hello!
    Though, I cannot restrict you for B.Sc IT, but my suggestion is to go with BCA from IGNOU. No other university in India, can beat the course structure of IGNOU. However, in India, the companies do generally prefer those candidates who do have done their Bachelors in regular mode. But, if your strategies are good, then you can get a high paying job after BCA from distance mode. I am advising you to go for IGNOU because firstly, the fees to pursue BCA here is absolutely minimal.
