@Shams as correctly mentioned that B.Tech is a good career option and holds equivalency to engineering degree, and holds more prospects in the field of IT.

Masters is always MORE and HIGH VALUE than a Bachelors. It’s really very Wrong to Compare BE / Btech to MCA, because, as you all know that BE / Btech is NOT Eligible for doing Ph.D (CS/IT), as MCA degree is Eligible for Ph.D The Person, Who Compare BE / Bte

Btech is better as Btech is equivalent to Engineering degree. previously degreee was BE now it is Btech..
do Btech if u r undergraduate but if u r graduate n aiming for masters thn do MCA..
best thing doing btech from any private or public institute will make you earn atleast 5 lpa very easily..jus

shams@ hi arun b.tech it is better. but for the present trend don't try mca but do m tech or mba. that will shape your career better. doing mca is the same nowadays as havin b tech degree alone.

but u hav to do bca+mca...which takes 5 years...
Engg takes 4 years...
