The choice between BA LLB and BBA LLB at Chandigarh University depends on your career goals. BA LLB focuses on humanities and law, providing a broad understanding of social, political, and legal systems. It is ideal for those aspiring for judicial services, litigation, or legal research. The curriculum combines core legal subjects with humanities, fostering critical thinking, communication skills, and social awareness. On the other hand, BBA LLB integrates business administration with law, preparing students for corporate legal advisory, business compliance, and consultancy roles. There is no distinction as such in the later years. if you have commerce in your 12th then only take BBA as it has accounts and finance things. Having commerce is not an eligibility requirement but a recommendation. at later stages when you come out both the courses have same recognition.

Both BA LLB and BBA LLB are good programs at Chandigarh University, and the better choice depends on your interest. If you prefer subjects like political science, sociology, psychology, and general humanities, then BA LLB is a better option. It helps you understand society, governance, and human behavior, which is useful in legal studies. On the other hand, if you're interested in management, finance, business, and corporate sectors, then BBA LLB is a great choice. Both programs are approved by the Bar Council of India, include practical training, and follow the same law curriculum. Admission for both requires CUCET, and you need a min

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.
