LPU is well-known for its MBA programme and is a suitable choice for management students seeking MBA admissions in Punjab. LPU's Business School is recognised by ACBSP, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs in the United States, providing high-quality education and industry-experienced faculty. Students who complete their studies at LPU will get a degree from a body in the United States. Compare to other universities LPU has very minimal fee structure of an MBA programme, which is INR 1,90,000 per semester without any scholarship. However, LPU always supports everyone financially, therefore LPU offers various scho

IIBS is a very wonderful school with countless opportunities to get involved. There is something here for everyone. We are one of the best academic schools in the country, and you can SEE it here on campus. The environment is uplifting and bright. The university offers a variety of activities socially and academically. The school offers opportunities for various interests. Resources are plentiful, and the professors do want to help. The most important part of school is you and what you're willing to put forth to be happy and exceed. IIBS ranked 3rd in terms of placements. In my course, all the students get placed in MNCs every year. Th

Hello, The IIBS Bangalore and LPU both offer MBA courses, but the PGDM is only available in IIBS. Discussing about the faculty, then the LPU is better than IIBS as it has more experienced staffs. Discussing about the Facilities provided then the LPU offers more and improvised facilities than the IIBS. Discussing about the placements, then the average salary offered to the IIBS graduates is INR 6.2 Lacs per annum, whereas in LPU, it is 6 Lacs per annum. I hope it helps.

IIBS Bangalore is best for MBA, however its not easy to get into IIBS, on the another hand, LPU is equally good, with different specialisation and tie up courses it offers, it one of the best university for doing MBA. LPU is the only university that have tie- ups with leading companies. For example MBA (Business Analytics) in tie up with KGMP, MBA (Financial Markets) in tie up with NSE, MBA (Supply Chain & Logistics) in tie up with safeducate.

Good placements are offered by LPU for its MBA/PGDM programs. The class of 2025 witnessed the highest offer of ₹49.4 LPA and an average of ₹13.6 LPA for the top 10%. Compared to the highest package of ₹29.3 LPA and an average of ₹7.8 LPA just a few years ago. 1,129+ offers have been made to MBA students from 250+ recruiters, marking a 29% increase, while 450+ total campus recruiters have provided 6,000+ jobs thus far. The best students find jobs in multinational companies, although the placement is more inclined toward high-CGPA students with internships.

From my experience and what I've seen around me, LPU placements are decent but very student-dependent. The university brings a good number of companies every year across tech, management, and other domains, but outcomes really depend on your skills, projects, internships, and consistency. If you stay active and prepared, placements can work in your favor; if you rely only on classes, results may feel average. From my experience and what I've seen around me, LPU placements are decent. Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a stronger and more reliable choice for pursuing MBA in terms of placements, exposure, and long-term career value. LPU has one of the largest and most structured placement ecosystems among private universities in India. Its MBA programme is supported by a dedicated placement cell that brings in top recruiters from banking, consulting, IT, FMCG, retail, logistics, and analytics sectors every year. One of the key advantages of LPU over standalone PGDM institutes is that it is a NAAC A+ accredited university, which adds credibility to the degree in both the corporate sector and higher studies.

The applicant should give the relevant Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates, along with the LPUNEST admit card and scorecard, recent passport-sized photographs-a valid photo ID/birth proof such as Aadhaar or matric certificate, and category certificates, if applicable-with any qualifying or eligibility certificates for the selected program under LPU NEST counseling.

Mainly an online process, LPU NEST Counselling enables qualified candidates to fill in seat preferences, upload documents, and make payments remotely. On such occasions, candidates might deposit fees offline, visit the university campus or camp office, or submit their applications. As per preference, seat allotment occurs according to merit ranks, while results can be viewed online.

Yes, Lovely Professional University announces the LPU NEST counselling. The dates will most commonly be published alongside exam schedules and result timelines for every phase, online counselling from February 8, 2026, B.Tech program. These dates are updated per programme (e.g., B.Tech, MBA) and phase, i.e., slot booking and results of seat allotment by online examination, which will be declared soon after the completion of exams, often within 24 to 48 hours. Candidates can refer to the "Important Dates" section for the last dates for admission, for example, February 25, 2026, for B.Tech.

Yes, it is actually very much required to bring along Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least mark sheets during the LPU NEST counseling, primarily because the university explicitly would wish to establish the age of applicants from the Class 10 marksheet and verify eligibility with the Class 12 certificate/marksheet before confirming admission and awarding a scholarship.

S
Samreen Begum

at LPU NEST counselling, you would have to check the result & rank, fill and lock online course/seat preferences, get the allotment of the seat based on the rank and choices, pay to secure the seat by paying the initial fee, and go on to upload/verify documents and pay the remaining fee within the stipulated time for final admission.
