Which is better BIMTECH or IMI, Kolkata?

It is important to understand your career objectives and go for an MBA college that best matches your requirements. Amidst the plethora of B-Schools in India, IMI-Kolkata has made a mark of its own. Which is why Id say it is better than BIMTECH. There very strict about the selection of faculty members, hence ensuring that only the finest teachers who are highly qualified, passionate and dedicated are teaching the students. Also, IMI-K believes in value-based education which helps students become a better human being and do something constructive for society. There committed to the cause of delivering world-class education. Their placements are also great (not comparing this point with any institute because I believe that in the end, it totally depends on the student's capability).

IMI-Kolkata is one of Eastern India's top private MBA institute. The faculty is revered and excel in their fields. The college has international collaboration with universities across the globe and provides students the opportunity to go for internships and trimesters abroad. From the placement front, the college is performing very good. This year a candidate was offered a package of 18 Lacs per annum by one of the nation's top recruiter. The infrastructure too gives a wholesome learning experience to the students.

1. BIMTECH:- a) Placements: The placements for the current batch (2016-18) is on pace with students being placed in companies like Bata, SSIPL, Reliance Trends, Madura Garments, Future Group-Home Town, etc. The average package for PGDM-retail management course is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. b) Infrastructure: BIMTECH is equipped with a good infrastructure comprising of AC classrooms, activity plaza, a cafeteria, separate hostels for boys and girls, hygienic mess service, gym, sports equipment, a basketball court as well as a badminton court. Students are provided with amenities such as washing machine, microwave, TV, fridge, etc. in the hostel. c) Faculty: The faculty holds a rich experience and specialization in various fields such as management, finance, operations, retail, human resource, etc. Some of the faculty members hold a rich corporate experience with former positions at the CEO level. The teaching method is based on case-study approach. 2. IMI:- a) Placements: Placements were very good and 100% of the students were placed. The highest salary was 14 lakh whereas lower salary offered was 6 lakh. Companies like ICICI bank, Axis bank, mother dairy, Tech Mahindra etc, visited the campus. Profiles offered were relationship manager, sales manager, branch manager, tax consultant, etc and 100% of the students got the internship from the college. Highest stipend salary offered was 60000. b) Infrastructure : The college is fully WiFi campus. Classrooms are neat. The environment of the college is very friendly. The mess is very good, the food is very hygienic and tasty. All the hostel rooms have single occupancy rooms. Rooms are available with AC as well as non AC. I have never faced any infrastructure related issues. c) Faculty: The experience with the faculty members was very good. They helped me a lot. I always cleared all my doubts very easily. I got the industry exposure and the course curriculum was very useful. Faculties of the college were very much supportive.They were very knowledgeable. That's why the teaching is very excellent in the college.

Hi there, Undoubtedly BIMTECH is a better option than IMI, Kolkata. BIMTECH offers better placements than IMI, Kolkata and if offers a better exposure to its students since it is located in Delhi NCR region. The placements for 2016-18 batch is in full swing with companies like KPMG, Bajaj Finserv, Cinepolis, HDFC, SBI, Yes Bank, IDFC Bank, PNB, etc. coming to college. The average package ranges from Rs 6-7 lakhs per annum. Almost 97% of the batch gets placed from the college every year.
