Which is better, botany or biotechnology?

Botany is a good subject to cover entire plants as well as agricultural-related research and development to enhance the productivity of food and agriculture and its allied things. Biotechnology is mainly a multidisciplinary branch it covers most of the fields of life Science and enhances the quality and standard of humans with the help of engineering, technology, and multidimensional people. Both subjects are good. If you want to go for a Master of Science in Biotechnology it is a narrow field, you have fewer options if we compare it to Botany. In this, You will get a Master of Science in Biotechnology Biotech degree and after that, you can go research further you can opt-out of industrial as well as medical jobs. Biotechnology has applications in the field of chemical engineering, medical & veterinary sciences, food, and agriculture Science, waste management, pollution, and environmental protection, If you want to pursue your career in research and teaching then go for botany or may choose wisely. Biotechnology has applications in the field of medical & veterinary sciences, chemical engineering, food and agriculture Science, pollution and environment protection, waste management whereas If you want to pursue your career in teaching and in research then go for botany, so choose wisely.
