Which is better: CCNA or OCJP?

    Let me understand your purpose behind asking this question since both the certifications are not in the same domain. While CCNA is an entry level Certification in Networking, OCJP (which used to be SCJP or JCP back in the late 90s.) is a decent Java programming certification. With OCJP you can get a decent job as a programmer with any small to medium sized organization. However, I can't say the same with confidence about CCNA.
    Since both certifications are in completely non-related domains, it is really hard to compare both. What exactly is your purpose or intention? What is your ultimate goal? What do you believe you are good at & most

    This is a very rare comparison. Both the certification are in different fields. CCNA is related to networking at an entry level and has no relation to programming whereas OCJP is a JAVA based programming certification.
    These courses will offer different job prospects as the OCJP will offer jobs in the field of JAVA programming in various companies with basic software usage.
    CCNA is a course that would offer jobs in the field of networking, WNA/LAN technologies and routing.
    You will have to upgrade yourself over time with CCNA to a CCNP as the CCNA as a two year validity time period and so on. OCJP is a lifelong validity certificate but th
