    You see always IITs are in top, then followed by NITs. So, In order to get admission in IITs you need to write JEE Mains + JEE Advanced to get admission. If it's NITs you just need to appear for JEE Mains. After clearing and getting a good rank in those entrance tests you can select the best IIT or NIT based on your eligibility and interest.

    I'll prefer you to opt for the IIT, as there the placements are assured to be quality and good.
