PIBM Pune is a very good college for MBA or PGDM programme. PIBM ranks 32nd in the Top 100 B-Schools in India. PGDM and MBA both courses in PIBM are equally wonderful and also placements for both the courses are equivalent. They have both the programmes MBA as well as PGDM. Where MBA course is affiliated to SPPU that is Savitri Bai Phule Pune University and PGDM is an AICTE approved course. They give number of practical exposure to you through different mediums. 500+ hours of advanced employability programme is designed by the college. Where you'll get 20+ industrial visit, 100+ guest lecture, regional and national outbound tours within which the most important thing is placement readiness training. Both the colleges are good but I would definitely recommend you to go RIIM Pune because RIIM Pune ROI is much better than PIBM except ROI there are also plenty of reasons to join RIIM which are as follows: RIIM Pune intake is less as compared to PIBM therefore students get more individual attention and they don't get lost in the crowd. PGDM is all about practical exposure and college make sure that you get a lot of it by taking you for more than 20 Industrial Visits, Live Projects, Summer Internship, participating in various competition for Business Plan some of them in IIM and winning awards also and being a part of more than 4 corporate conclaves conducted in the college. Apart from PGDM RIIM also provide their students with a lot of certification programs such as SAP, Business Analytics, Six Sigma, Advanced Excel and Digital Marketing. RIIM is also the only college in Pune which has Tie-up with IIM for a 15 Days residential programme called MDP. RIIM PGDM course not only gives you National but also International Exposure. Both college are good but amongst of two colleges RIIM is far ahead as compared to PIBM in Pune. In terms of fees there is huge difference between both colleges. RIIM fee structure is very affordable for every candidates. In RIIM PUNE, practical based methods are conducted. Placement readiness programme is very helpful for students and its a confidence building programme. The placement cell does its job perfectly by enhancing the personality of students. The college focuses on sharpening the entrepreneurial skills of the students, Companies come with attractive packages. There are various companies which are coming for finance which are offering good placements in the range of 5-14lacs. But the criteria are always tough to clear as they ask you throughout 60 percent. And college provides you very good knowledge about core domain of finance. Companies like Airtel, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, Birla Sunlife, Coca-Cola, Eureka Forbes, Gillette India, GODREJ, Havells Limited, Hindustan Unilever, HSBC, ICICI, Infosys, ING Vysya, Intel, Mahindra and Mahindra etc.
