Doon Business School is a good option indeed. Doon Business School (commonly Reffered as DBS) one of the oldest and the finest B-schools of the country. Hi, Both are renowned colleges but talking specifically about a management degree like a Master of Business Administration (MBA), DOON BUSINESS SCHOOL is better than doing MBA from LPU The main reasons why I am saying this is: 1. One of the best business schools in INDIA 3. Provides overall and holistic learning to the students. 4. Courses like MBA are further enhanced by industry interface. 5. As DBS is located near the industry, it helps students know more about the industry, interface with its managers, and know-how all the systems and circles that work in the industry. DBS gives additional value-added courses like Statistics analysis, advanced learning of MS word excel, etc. 6. Nearly regular webinars and seminars from various business people and entrepreneurs. Webinars and seminars are the main aspects of an MBA as they help students think differently. 7. In Addition students can get jobs or internships even before completing their degree So, these were the main reason I can say that diverges my opinion towards doing MBA from DOON BUSINESS SCHOOL. Rest is your choice but the only thing I can say is first research properly about the college you are taking admission to and then think about it.

I would have no doubt in choosing Doon Business School over any other college that too LPU. Doon Business School is a very esteemed college in Dehradun that offers various business courses to it's students. I can understand that there is a lot of confusion when it comes to choosing a college. But since this choice will be a major part of our career and will decide our future, it is important to make the correct choice. I am currently studying in Doon Business School and I feel that I made the correct choice of choosing this college for pursuing MBA. There are various opportunities that Doon Business School provides to it's students. That helps them build there skills and knowledge. DBS is in Selaqui area of Dehradun which is an industrial area. This open up a lot of scope for students specially for those students who are looking to pursue MBA from here. Many of the assignments that are given to us are very much based on the practical approach. This will help you build new skills. There are many seminars which takes place in college. This helps students to learn about different companies and the work environment about the company. Another good thing about Doon Business School is the weekly activities that are organized for the college every week. This is something unique about this college. These activities helps students build communication and other skills. The annual events are also very nice. The placements this year was also nice. Many companies visited the campus from different industries. Many placement offers where provided to the students. There is also an option to choose ace or ace star that Doon Business School gives to it's students. In this there are various industrial based specialisation Certificate programs are offered to the students. This helps students learn new skill. Dear AYUSH Both are good private universities but I have no idea about the MBA programme at Doon Business School. I have completed my MBA from LPU. Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things- The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experienced faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. Placement: Every year more than 550+ companies visit LPU for placements. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme.
