Dear Aspirant, Both LPU and Amity University are well-known private universities and doing well. I did B.Tech in CSE from LPU and got placed in an MNC with a very good salary package. Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend B.Tech in CSE at LPU based on the following points:
The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Hi Devanshu, Amity is certainly a good university. B Tech CSE is the need of the hour keeping in view the digitalization having seeped to every level of our worldly existence. The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty and state of the art facilities that have left many NITs far behind. The b Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That are needed to build and solve problems using computers
The curriculum taught here is of international standard. One gets to learn from foreign and industry experts. There are provisions of international credits in some programmes where a student gets an opportunity to go abroad to study. Highlights

Amity would be a better choice as it more inclined with the new technology and the student gets a wider scope.

The Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET) of LPU for the 2025 admissions into PE/sports programs was conducted in several schedules, with the latest being on August 26, 2025 (Schedule VI).
