Which is better for a BTech in Electrical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur or IIT Bombay?

Ranking of the colleges change, and it matters. You first refer to the ranking and the stream for which you are going to pursue your Bachelors or Masters. According to my friends, IIT Bombay is better than IIT kharagpur in Electrical Engineering because it has higher placement rate than kharagpur also its infrastructure is much better than IIT kharagpur. You can easily go through their websites for placements and also for a good life of hostel you have to join IIT bombay.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and IIT Bombay are one of the best colleges in India that provides BTech along with various other programmes to students. They both are among the top-ranked Indian colleges. IIT Bombay is ranked three by NIRF 2023 for Engineering and IIT Kharagpur is ranked fifth by NIRF 2024 for Engineering. The IIT Bombay is a better option than the IIT Kharagpur for a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. This is due to the following reasons:
1. IIT Bombay is ranked higher in the NIRF rankings than IIT Kharagpur, which is placed fifth in the 2022 rankings.
2. The IIT-B has top-notch infrastructure, including modern classrooms that are well-equipped with projectors and speakers.
3. The closing ranks of JEE show that the EE branch of IIT-B is more well-liked. The closing rank of 1417 at IIT K was lower than the cutoff of 296 for this branch at IIT B.
