    As I am also a student, I can totally understand that Placements is most crucial aspect of an university. A college which do not have a good placement is of course less worthy that, which have a better placement. Now as per your question, not only in case of placements, but in case of academics, infrastructure, and even in other curricular activities, CU is better than Chitkara.     CU is best for CSE. It is NaacA+ certified university, which has a state of art labs and research facilities and infrastructure. Placement records are best and faulty is the perfect blend of academicians and researchers. For CSE CU is known for its placements, you can check CU website for this.

    Chandigarh University is the best. Apart from traditional branches of engineering It also offers various specialisations like Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, these are the buzzwords of the technology these days.     Chandigarh University is the most renowned for B.Tech computer Science in north India and the university, of late has become a center of excellence for CSE. This NAAC A+ accredited university provides the enviable and much needed industry exposure to the students. B.Tech CSE here give more thrust on practical orientation as opposed to conventional teaching pedagogy. The placement record is highly unmatched when compared with others and this makes it most preferred option for students.

    Undoubtedly Chandigarh University is better than Chitkara University. Chandigarh University is the best option for B.Tech CS. It is accredited with NAAC A+ Grade and best university in north region. The university provides the best placements and best infrastructure than all other colleges. Faculty is very educated having good experience in teaching as well as in industries.

    Chandigarh University is the best for B.Tech computer science than Chitkara University as Chandigarh University has the best placements records and well established and advanced labs and classrooms which makes it a must go university to study.

    B.Tech CSE is not an ordinary programme!
    It requires a lots and lots of infrastructure and industry input to run successfully. Since the speed of changes in technology is break neck, the universities need to be highly dynamic in nature to adjust their curriculum as per requirements almost continuously. There is only private university which can actually say that it has excelled in curriculum development, industry interface, diversity, professional enhancement, community development exposure, entrepreneurship exposure, technology trainings, infrastructure and teaching pedagogy and that is not even mentioned in the question, it is LPU.
