B.Tech CSE is not an ordinary programme! It requires a lots and lots of infrastructure and industry input to run successfully. Since the speed of changes in technology is break neck, the universities need to be highly dynamic in nature to adjust their curriculum as per requirements almost continuously. There is only private university which can actually say that it has excelled in curriculum development, industry interface, diversity, professional enhancement, community development exposure, entrepreneurship exposure, technology trainings, infrastructure and teaching pedagogy and that is not even mentioned in the question, it is LPU. More than 700 faculty members are PhDs and Post doctoral and they provide the exposure to students which is unmatched. Coming to placement, the stellar record of LPU in placements in unmatched, because of its efforts on curriculum development and delivery, industry interface, professional enhancement and diversity of students, over 600 companies visit the campus for recruitment every year. Hello, I can't say anything about Chitkara University. Being an Alumni from same field, I can say LPU is the best choice for B.Tech CSE. There is no doubt in this that Chandigarh University is best for computer Science and let me tell you that the University offers B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) instead of B.Tech. The department has tie-ups with big companies and even has industry-sponsored labs like the Microsoft Innovation Centre and IBM Software Lab, where students get to work on real projects. And when it comes to placements, CU is on another level. Huge companies like Microsoft, Amazon and IBM come to hire students and offer super high salary packages. Nowadays every second college offers engineering courses but to choose the best for future in engineering you should check the number of specialisations that offer the specialisations that are relevant for new jobs. The courses like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity and many more. Plus for Masters you can get abroad as well and your degree from CU will have recognition there too because of ABET accreditation which is a recognition given by a US based organisation. Here you don't need to worry about placements as well. They have a specific department for Career Planning and Development, this department is specifically focussed on helping students preparing resumes, and preparing for pre placement aptitude tests of the companies. So I personally feel no private university could match the ROI of the engineering degree of Chandigarh University.
