<p>Yes, Chandigarh University is the bestest for you to pursue your CSE degree and I would also like to&nbsp;tell you that the university does not offer B.Tech CSE, they offer B.E. which is actually a great option.</p><p>The CSE department is also awesome, the classrooms, labs and library are modern and well-equipped.</p><p>The department also holds hackathons, tech clubs and live projects, which give students more chances to&nbsp;learn outside class. The placements are also very amazing.</p>

LPU will definitely be a better option for CSE. The placements which is one of the most important things is more than just great here, far better than CU. With around 600 companies coming to the campus and the majority of students being placed, the placement drive at LPU is one of the most successful ones. And as far as the rankings are concerned, LPU is ranked in the TOP 100 in NIRF by MHRD, government. Of India. Also, LPU is now considered among the TOP 25 institutions when it comes to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. Talking about the academics here, LPU challenges the conventional teaching methods with Practice-Based Teaching. Practices like Project-Based Learning, Competitive Programming, Learning from Experts, etc. Are all embedded in the teaching methodology ultimately helping the students in all the ways possible.

The university is famous because it ensures 100% placements and students are also placed at very high salaries and staff is also very amazing. &nbsp;Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and IBM visit the campus and offer good salary packages based on skills. The department also organizes several seminars, workshops and expert lectures which are really helpful for students and they get to learn many skills. Campus life is super diverse too with students from all over India and beyond it's a real melting pot of cultures and there's never a dull moment with all the events and activities they organize.</p>

The department offers different courses like CSE and CSE with specializations. From the 4th semester, students can choose elective subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Internet of Things and the department has top-class labs like the Microsoft Innovation Centre, IBM Software Lab, Virtusa Robotics &amp; Automation Center, and HP Center of Excellence.
