Dear Debasis, Both LPU and KIIT are good institutes but if you need the completed details of the CSE programme, then being alumni of LPU, I can only share the details of this programme at LPU. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. I hope this helps Thanks

CSE Program in KIIT or LPU both are equally good but to my opinion, one must go for Computer Science and Engineering as it has been one of the most lucrative and competitive course to study since its inception in Indian engineering colleges. I would like to recommend those who have valid and eligible JEE main scores then they could go for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the points why one must consider B.tech from LPU. 1. Hello, Computer science consists of the study of various topics such as languages, programming, algorithms, program designing, and software designing. In my suggestion, LPU is better. At LPU, Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology UG Programmes have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be future engineers, managers, or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. Developing the analytical, communication, and decision-making skills of students is an important focus area throughout the duration of the program. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. Placement at LPU is amazing I must say as a CSE student, A portion of the giant recruiters includes Cognizant, Cape Gemini, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, SAP Labs, VM Ware, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo and a lot more. Along with these fabulous placements and excellent training, LPU achieved many milestones in terms of providing the best exposure to its students. Thanks

Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since IT is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a program which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy formal the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel etc. Are must for any professional to succeed in career. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech program. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The program must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking and business incubator. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills. Placements : The program is only means to the end ! And desired end of such course is a placement. You must check if the college/university has sold track record of placements or not. LPU has phenomenal, unmatched track record on each of these criteria in last decade or so, more than 700 top recruiters from across the globe are regular to campus, this is proof enough of its excellence. LPU is miles ahead! DVD.
