Hello, I have done my B.Tech CSE from LPU, I got campus placement in HCL and almost most of my batch mates got placed through campus placement. Lovely Professional University is known for its CSE. As a student of LPU I can vouch for the academics and placements here. LPU is an exemplary platform for a career progression for engineering students. It is true that it cannot be compared to IITS and BITS but LPU has its own essence as now it is hiring the faculty from the top IITS and is transforming the education by providing the latest technology and training to its students. Infrastructure : The infrastructure is splendid with all amenities. I think no one will disagree to the fact that when it comes to infrastructure None can beat LPU Placements : LPU being a private university offers the best in it. The placements here are also somewhat only good as the number of students studying here is much higher so full placements are not possible but a good placement from LPU is assured. Almost 50% of its 10,000 students are placed in good companies. Last year, Cognizant hired almost 2500 students from LPU and Tech Mahindra also hired 250 students. The highest salary offered here is 12-14 lacs. The average package is 4.5 -5 lacs. An internship here is necessary in the 3rd and 4th year of your degree. Faculty : Faculty in LPU is well learned and enthusiastic about teaching their course curriculum with zeal and also provide you all kind of help that is needed for a career progression. The faculty/staff are good, however you need to do that bit of learning to excel. The course curriculum are updated according to the changing environment. NIT is of course a good choice but if talked about private universities LPU is no lesser for CSE. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Hello, LPU or NIT Srinagar/Manipur/Meghalaya or Sikkim Agartala all are good platforms but as per my experience in LPU as a student, LPU is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. CSE at LPU is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Various specializations that LPU is offering in CSE are, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, etc. To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry.

Hello, My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foriegn universities. And coming to the placements 100% placements for the students who so ever registered for the placements. Final year B Tech Computer Science &amp; Engineering student of Lovely Professional University, Tanya Arora has bagged Rs 42 Lacs job offer from Microsoft. This is the highest job offer received by engineering fresher in the region for the year 2019. Tanya has been offered the role of Software Engineer at Microsoft India R&amp;D Centre in Hyderabad.
